Its 3am in the morning and in a surprisingly sober state, I decided to dedicate a post to the people who constitute a large part of my younger years.
Two days ago was Teachers' day, and there was a handful of us who headed back to Zhonghua. (They repainted the school by the way, and there is a new sports hall too. Also, to my dismay, Blue house is last while Red house is in the lead)
If you were there, you would be able to feel the solid whack of time hit you straight in the face while watching the kids fidgeting in the school hall as Ms Ong tries her best to maintain discipline. Places change, people change, but watching Ms Ong and her familiar idiosyncrasies just flooded all other irrelevant thoughts and replaced them with memories of our time there in that same school hall. Its been 6 years since we graduated from this class.
Somehow, very long ago I believed that I would always remember what it's like being 10 years old and being in what I upheld as "the best class 4eva". But the truth is, I don't.
Remembering events is one thing, but trying to remember your state of mind is like jumping on an entirely different bandwagon altogether. And that bandwagon is going to be so high, you could barely reach it.
Then I recalled 4awenglaoshi. Going back here and reading through posts is like revisiting a former self you never knew existed. Looking back, our posts were whiny, sometimes annoying, mostly irrelevant, but what shone through was the transparency of it all. Our posts were so reflective of our emotions and outright offensive to others sometimes (yes i am ashamed by my past ignorance), its amazing to note how we still accepted each other as part of one community- 4awenglaoshi.
Our lives have turned and snaked in such a way that we are leading lives so different from one another. The passing of time is scary when you look back for even our beloved Weng Lao Shi, the youngest teacher in the school when she was teaching us, is now married with a two year old child, and with another one on the way.
Some of us may never even cross paths again, but this blog, will always remain as a repository of our shared memories.

eh why no 1 posting on this blog liao............................
anyways. today 1st day of sch and i tink it sux alr... class table not sticking together so cant talk without teacher noticing... and thn almost spend half the sch period sitting in the hall till my butt almost drop off... gonna camp in 3 days!!! omg so sianz sia. i hate slping away frm hm...

I have not entered a post for a super long time.
and it seems like everyone has forgotten about this bloq except that miserabl;e few.
I recommend that we can change the blogskin???
ya know, cuz we have been using this skin for like..... a year +++????
